1. The Taj Mahal
Tajmahal is one of the most beautiful Tourist Destinations in World. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan to commemorate his second wife and inseparable companion, Arjumand Banu Begum, (Mumtaz Mahal – ‘Chosen of the Palace), who died in childbirth, with a building unlike any ever seen before.
The tomb scales the heights of a modern 20-storey building. The white marble is from Makrana, taking on different tones at different times of the day, with imported precious stones. A red sandstone channel, set between rows of cypress trees, compliments the entrance.
The main gateway is a large three-storey sandstone structure with an octagonal central chamber. The Quran is inscribed extensively throughout the building. It is clearly a supreme labour of love.

Prior to restoration work performed between 1990 and 2001, the tower leaned at an angle of 5.5 degrees, but the tower now leans at about 3.99 degrees. This means that the top of the tower is 12 ft 10 in from where it would stand if the tower were perfectly vertical.

Although driving over the bridge can be a fun experience, you must walk or bicycle over the bridge to be able to fully appreciate this large wonder. The sidewalks are opened during the day for pedestrians and bikers but know that it’s usually very windy and cold and the bridge vibrates. One of the world’s largest office buildings Headquarters of US Department of Defence that has three times the floor space of the Empire State Building which is formerly called Hell’s Bottom before housing the Pentagon. Great Sphinx is the world’s largest and oldest statues. The statue stands on the Giza Plateau in Giza on the west bank of the Nile, near modern-day Cairo, in Egypt. It stand 241 ft long, 6 20 ft wide, and 66.34 ft high. The oldest known monumental sculpture have been built by ancient Egyptians of Old Kingdom in 2555 BC to 2532 BC.s Some suggest that the change from a green Sahara to a much drier climate occurred later than had been thought, and thus the Sphinx was built during a period of heavy rainfall.

A statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The largest art deco statue in the world that stands 130 ft tall, including its 31 ft pedestal, and 98 ft wide. It weighs 700 short tons, and is located at the peak of the 2,300 ft Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city. A symbol of Catholicism, the statue has become an icon of Rio and Brazil made of reinforced concrete and soapstone.
